The explosive impulses of the tango lie almost in the nature of the wooden instruments. The rough chord of Piazzolla’s Bandoneon and guitar finds its equivalent in the sharp attack of 16 Marimbamallets in eight hands. The melancholy sobbing of the tango takes on the form of violently starting, then transforms to a delicate tremolo.
